Archives of plants named by the first colonizers. Unarchiving a territory, uninventing a name. Muestrario begins with a process of learning about the forms of the relationship of plants in the native forest. Guided by the voices of the inhabitants of Hornopirén, we begin to glimpse what remains of the Patagonian jungles in a territory devastated by industrial extractivism. The artifacts that fall into this carrier bag discuss, reflect and respond, in an attempt to find other ways to observe, relate and coexist with the forest in order to, perhaps, begin to understand a whole environment at risk of disappearing forever.
