The naturalist Claudio Gay returns through filmmaker Ignacio Agüero’s body to search for a plant he failed to catalogue in 1830. His first stop: Lake Tagua Tagua, drained ten years after his visit. What he finds is no longer the lake but the Chilean countryside itself.
